Marlowe move to new head officeThe Hawthorns

Marlowe Child & Family Services have moved their head office from the building adjacent to the school at Hartpury. The new offices based at The Hawthorns in Staunton are part of a farm conversion offering office and light industrial business premises. New Home - The HolliesNew Home - The Hollies

Following on from the success of Safe Steps in both Gloucestershire and West Wales, Marlowe Child & family Services and Pathway Care are planning a third centre, this time in South East Wales.

The opening is planned for early autumn of 2011. It is our intention to be able to provide the Safe Steps programme close to home for children and young people from Cardiff, Newport and the South Wales valleys, and well as those who came from further afield.

The now well developed model of providing a programme of care that helps challenging children and young people make a successful transition from residential …Read on

Similarly, the old glazed conservatory has been replaced by a brand new, bigger conservatory. Registered Manager Jenny Berrigan intends to use the facility to engage in creative work. There has also been a brand new bathroom and WC fitted, which has particularly pleased the young people living at Oaklands.

The Haven in Gloucestershire has also had a brand new conservatory built. The extra space has allowed registered manager Tanya Colella to provide and improve facilities for the resident’s recreation, as well as positive changes to the therapy space. The young people themselves have been actively involved in deciding …Read on
