What we can do

Marlowe Child & Family Services provide children and young people with psychological, emotional and behavioural difficulties, histories of placement breakdown, learning disabilities, autistic disorders and a variety of other difficulties a stable and robust placement option in a specialist home focused on meeting their individual needs.

In addition there is education at one of two Registered/Approved day schools and expert therapeutic input from appropriately experienced, qualified and professionally supervised therapy staff.

We are committed to ensuring our services offer both genuine opportunities for children and young people, and best value for Placing Agencies.

Case Study C - Carly

At 14 Carly didn't know how to dress herself, eat with cutlery or cross the road safely. She spent most of day ordering coloured pens and arranging toys on a shelf. She was totally trapped inside her Autistic thought processes. Within 2 years of arriving at ‘The Marlowe’ she was going camping with friends and winning the ‘Most Improved Student’ award from her college.
