Marlowe Child & Family Services offer excellent career opportunities both in Gloucestershire and Pembrokeshire for committed individuals.

Most Posts are for Care Staff and Care Managers, however Marlowe Child & Family Services also employs Psychologists, Therapists, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Finance Staff, Human Resources Staff, Administrators and Secretaries, Cleaners and Maintenance Staff.

All staff receive a competitive salary and benefits that include enhanced rates of sickness pay, maternity pay, subsidised child care and a Group Personnel Pension Scheme including 3% employer contribution. Staff working shifts also benefit from unsocial hours enhancements and sleep-in allowances.

Marlowe Child & Family Services are interested in hearing from a wide range of professionally qualified staff e.g., Social workers, Psychiatric Nurses and experienced and qualified Care Staff and Managers.

Marlowe Child & Family Services also offer opportunities for staff with limited experience and qualifications. Recent graduates and individuals looking for a career change are encouraged to inquire about specific vacancies. Care staff without qualifications will receive a comprehensive induction and training leading to QCF Diploma (Level 3) in Caring for Children and Young People. Opportunities for further training are actively supported.

Marlowe Child & Family Services are committed to good employee relations and a consultative approach. Formal recognition agreements exists with UNISON and NASUWT. Marlowe Child & Family Services also have worked closely with other Trade Unions and Professional Organisations including the GMB and the NUT. All posts are subject to successful completion of a Health Screening Form and an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB). Applicants with a Criminal Record must disclose details of any convictions and/or cautions prior to interview. The nature of the posts are such as to be exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
