Making a Referral

Agencies interested into making a referral and/or requiring additional information should use our online registration form here or you may contact us directly on 01452 849565. A full Brochure Pack will be forwarded, along with any other information requested. Recent Inspection Reports from CSSIW/OFSTED/DFES will be forwarded, on request, to bona fide agencies. Similarly, requests may be forwarded, on requests may be made for Policies and Procedures, Statements of Purpose and Function, Regulations 33 Reports etc.

New Placing Agencies who would like to contact existing Placing Agencies can be provided with the necessary contact details on request. It is advisable that Placing Agencies contact Steve Miller (Director) or Richard Bland (in respect of St David's ASC inquiries) to discuss the suitability or otherwise of individual cases.

Agencies making a referral should download and complete a Referral Form and forwarded it along with all other relevant information. Marlowe Child & Family Services have no specific facilities to cater for Crisis Placements. In some circumstances, placements can be expedited quickly, if the necessary assessments process can be completed.

Placement Planning ideally includes the child or young person visiting their possible home, along with Marlowe Child & Family Services staff visiting them in their current placement. Visits from families are also welcomed.

A booklet - ‘Handbook for Children and Young Peoples and their Families’ is available for each Home. Copies will be posted on request.

Placing Agencies wishing to refer directly to St David's ASC can email them directly or fax the completed Referral Form, along with additional information to 01452 840376.

All Placements are subject to an appropriate contract and fees.
