Case Studies

These few Case Studies briefly detailed here, describe aspects of the care, therapy and education some children and young people have experienced at Marlowe Child & Family Services (including Marlowe(St David's)) in recent years. They are not stories of 100% success - we do not deal in miracles. Nor do they illustrate the arrogant boasts of an organisation that always gets thing right. Rather, it shows how very different children and young people were able to draw on their own considerable resources when given support and an environment that offered them stability and commitment. As a consequence they all began the process of growing into the people they were always meant to be.

For reasons of confidentiality, and out of respect for the privacy and dignity of the children and young people concerned, names and other incidental details have been changed to obscure their identity. However, in all of the important details, these case studies are an actual summary of what happened.
