Mission Statement
Marlowe Child & Family Services Limited are committed: -
- To provide a range of needs led, independent residential child care, therapy and educational services for children and young people: acting as a specialist agency for Social Services Departments, Education Authorities and Health Authorities from across the UK and elsewhere.
- To ensure our services and policies operate within the legalisative framework provided for the protection of children and young people in public care. To ensure a close and co-operative working relationship with Registration and Inspection Authorities to this end.
- To ensure the services provided reflect our Statement of Equal Opportunities and our Humanistic Philosophy. Further, to ensure that children and young people we care for, colleagues and the general public are treated with respect, dignity and freedom from prejudice according to the highest professional standards. Similarly, to ensure that in all dealings with our colleagues, they are also accorded due respect, dignity and freedom from prejudice.
- To provide protection, and a safe and nurturing environment to those children and young people we are charged with looking after; especially given the fact that they are some of the most vulnerable members of our society.
- To ensure that we provide value for money for our customers and clients and recognise the need to use all resources wisely and effectively.
- To act as a good employer, valuing the vital contribution all staff make and supporting their growth by providing them with opportunities to train and develop. To provide opportunities and encouragement for collective bargaining and protection of their rights and safety through proper representation.
- To continue to strive for excellence in all things, particularly in our direct dealings with children and young people.
- To ensure the organisation and its entire staff, managers and directors are open to change and are willing to act on constructive criticism. Similarly to ensure all complaints (internal and external) are dealt with politely, professionally and positively, and that where necessary lessons are learnt.
